For the Art Critic: The Opening of National Gallery Singapore

Be it  online or offline articles, the hype for the opening of the National Gallery Singapore is definitely there. Known for its history and outstanding architecture, prepare to be amazed by the  exquisite historical architecture of the City Hall Chamber and the Rotunda Dome. With 400 local masterpieces on exhibit at the DBS Singapore Gallery, our island nation’s multi-culturalism can be said to be in its full glory.

From the 27th to 29th November 2015, activities will be held at the Padang as part of the opening celebration of the National Gallery Singapore and SG50 itself. A day savouring rich history, admiring provoking masterpieces, taking Insta snapshots of historical architecture. For all you artistic souls, this is definitely your place of the month.

If soul-stirring music amongst the flora and fauna sounds wonderful to you, you can’t miss Neon Lights Festival 2015 ! Immerse yourself in music acts from local musicians like Yeun Chee Wai and Friends to international musicians like Bennet Bay. There’s a genre for everyone- from Mercury Rev’s rock music to Shugo Tokumaru’s lo-fi indie pop music!
