TheKopiWrite swung by the star-studded red carpet for the prestigious Singapore International Film Festival 2015 (SGIFF). Being mere amateurs, we were bowled over by the impressive line-up of established international and local celebrities, all ready to receive their accolades. Be prepared to feast your eyes!
We hung around during the cocktail reception, reveling in the moment and indulging shamelessly in champagne. Directors, actors, film & media personalities and even film legend Michelle Yeoh herself was within a ten foot radius. Afterwards, we attended the Silver Screen Award Ceremony, whereby host Chua Enlai got the ball rolling by eschewing his script entirely, even making fun of how “pretentious” it was. Bravo!
The attendees then proceeded to the benefit dinner, where celebrities auctioned their personal items to raise funds for charity and SGIFF 2016. We had a wonderful night, we’ll leave you guys with one last burst of photos!
